The Thrashing of the Christ

Many members of the Jewish faith were outraged by the portrayal of Jews in The Thrashing of the Christ as blood-thirsty child-strangling perverts — despite director Mel Gibson's exhaustive efforts to show that Jews killed Jesus by accident, having only intended to injure him severely:

Jewish outrage prompted Gibson to alter his film for the Judaic Edition, taking scenes that had received the most criticism and removing Christ from them altogether.

Despite Gibson's efforts, many Jews remained unjustifiably outraged by this inspirational and unbiased retelling of Christ's murder by spiteful Jews. As a way of extending the olive branch to members of the Jebrew faith, The Thrashing of the Christ: Judaic Edition gives Jews the chance to enjoy The Thrashing of the Christ as much as Mel Gibson did, with a special tint control feature that turns the film's Jews into black Hollywood stereotypes:

"The Thrashing of the Christ: Judaic Edition and Tootsie are the two most influential films of the Jewish community."

"I never believed in Christ until I saw The Thrashing of the Christ: Judaic Edition. Now I'm convinced. If the story was made up, wouldn't Jesus have kicked a hell of a lot more ass?"

"Watching how we thrashed the hell out of Jesus brought me closer to him.
Poor little guy."

"Having seen The Thrashing of the Christ: Judaic Edition, I've decided that Judaism is wrong. I'm eating a bacon and cheese sandwich right now. Fuck it."
